Attorney Registration
An attorney user that will fill out I-192 and I-212 forms on behalf of one or more clients will need to use the ‘Attorney Sign In or Create an Account’ button above to sign up for an e-SAFE account, complete a registration form and submit it for approval.
Steps Include:
Once your attorney account is approved, you can log into e-SAFE and create your applicant clients, and applications for them.
Create a new (or use an existing) account at Login.gov
Complete new attorney registration form
Submit for approval

Applicant Registration
An applicant is a user that wants to fill out an I-192 or I-212 on their own. Use the ‘Applicant Sign in or Create Account’ button above to create an account before using e-SAFE. Once registered you can start a new application right away.

- Complete your profile information
- Once your e-SAFE account is created you can begin a new I-192 or I-212 form

Did you miss the migration to Login.gov? (e-SAFE users that have not signed in since June 6, 2024)
e-SAFE went through a migration process from June 6th – September 6th which required users to migrate their e-SAFE account to Login.gov. If you need to migrate your account after this, we require you to first create a new e-SAFE account here and then email us at.

Application for Advance Permission to Enter as a Nonimmigrant
Who is Eligible for Form I-192?
Nonimmigrant citizens of:
- Canada
- Palau
- Federated States of Micronesia
- Marshall Islands
Note: If you are seeking admission under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) under INA section 217, you should NOT file this form. Aliens from VWP countries who are inadmissible must apply for a nonimmigrant visa at a U.S. Embassy or consulate for authorization to travel. You should contact the appropriate U.S. Embassy or consulate if you have any questions regarding your admissibility under VWP.
What Do I Need for Form I-192?
The Form I-192 application package must include the following documentation
- Evidence of your Citizenship
- Criminal Record(s) (In any country’s court system, submit a copy of the applicable record or an official letter from the court of jurisdiction stating the reason a copy of the record is not available.)
- Canadians: Must obtain verification of your criminal record or evidence of a lack thereof from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) endorsed within 15 months of the date of submission with your electronic application on e-SAFE.
- Pardoned Records: You must submit a complete copy of your pardon or record suspension.
- Copy of the official court record(s) indicating plea indictment, conviction and disposition for each crime committed anywhere in the world.
- Provide a statement concerning your inadmissibility to the United States.
- Submit any evidence or explanation of reformation of character or rehabilitation such as counseling or rehabilitation programs completed.
- A properly executed Form G-28 must accompany the application if you have retained an authorized person to represent you.

Nonimmigrants who require Consent to Reapply after being ordered removed/excluded and are citizens of
- Canada
- Palau
- Federated States of Micronesia
- Marshall Islands

The Form I-212 application package must include the following documentation
